Creative workshops that make the party memorable

A children's party programme does not have to be loud or fast-paced for the children to remember it for a long time. During a well-thought-out creative workshop they can make things together, try something new, and still share the same birthday experience.

The options also go far beyond classic drawing and painting. They can work with clay, paint ceramics, make bracelets, decorate a T-shirt or a canvas bag, do some crafting – and the whole birthday can even be built around a complete themed making programme.

Painting and drawing
Painting programmes can work from nursery age, and guided canvas painting can be arranged for older children. Everyone can create their own picture while making things together with their friends.

Clay work and ceramic painting
Working with clay is a particularly good choice if you are looking for a programme the children can really immerse themselves in. They can make figures, small bowls or ornaments, and with ceramic painting they can turn a ready-made object into something completely unique.

Making jewellery and accessories
Bracelets, necklaces, keyrings or even their own badges can be made during the party. The children can choose the colours and materials they like, so everyone takes home a different keepsake.

Themed craft parties
If the birthday child has a favourite theme, the whole session can be built around it. The making can be about unicorns, dinosaurs, animals, princesses or space travel – what matters is that it connects to whatever the child is into right now.

Why is a creative birthday a good choice?
One great advantage of a creative programme is that it is not built on competition. Every child can work at their own pace while chatting, laughing and helping each other.

It can be especially good for a group with children of different personalities: the quieter ones do not have to perform, while the group is still doing something together.

What to look out for when choosing?
First of all, check which age group the session is recommended for, how long it lasts, and whether the materials are included in the price. It is also worth asking whether the finished items can be taken home straight away, and whether there is separate time for the cake and the presents.

Among MiniParty's Creative workshops you can browse a range of making programmes, so it is easier to find the one that best suits the birthday child's age and interests.
