When we were planning our little boy's first birthday party, we learned first-hand just how much searching goes into organising a children's party. Where should the party be held? What kind of programme should we choose? Who should make the cake? Where do we get the decorations? For every good idea we had to work our way through countless websites, social media pages and groups.
It soon turned out that ideas were not in short supply – quite the opposite. There are plenty of wonderful venues, programmes and service providers out there; they are simply hard to find. You come across indoor playgrounds in one place, entertainers somewhere else, cake makers or decorators somewhere else again – and all the while you are trying to keep track of which option would suit which child and which age group.
That is how the idea of MiniParty was born.
We wanted to create a site where everything you need to organise a children's party – programmes and service providers alike – can be found in one place, clearly and simply. Where you do not have to search for days, but can compare the different options side by side, read the details, look at the photos and save the ones you really like.
On MiniParty you can browse indoor playgrounds, creative, animal-themed, sports, music-based and many other party programmes, and you can also find the providers who make the celebration complete – whether you are looking for a cake, decorations, an entertainer, a photographer, music or party supplies.
In our Ideas section we would also like to help with the questions that come up before and while you choose a particular provider: which programme suits which age, how to pick a venue, what to keep in mind while organising, or what to put on the birthday table.
As parents we know exactly how easy it is to get lost among the options, and how little time everyday life leaves for planning a birthday party. That is why we would like MiniParty to become the place to start from whenever the next birthday is coming up.
Our goal is simple: less time spent searching and organising, and more time for what really matters – shared experiences.
