Privacy policy
Effective from 11 September 2026
The protection of personal data is important to MiniParty. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you use the MiniParty website, request quotes, contact us, apply as a partner or subscribe to our newsletter, for what purpose, on what legal basis and for how long.

Hereinafter: the Data Controller or MiniParty.
2. Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail, by phone or through the contact form on the website, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry.
Data processed: name, e-mail address, phone number – if provided – and any other information given voluntarily in the message.
Purpose of the processing: making contact and answering questions and enquiries.
Legal basis of the processing: depending on the content of the enquiry, the consent of the data subject, or steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract.
Duration of the processing: up to 1 year after the enquiry has been closed, unless further retention is justified by a contractual or statutory obligation.
3. Requesting a quote from a party programme or provider
MiniParty allows visitors to request quotes from the party programmes, venues and providers featured on the website.
We process the data provided in a quote request in order to forward the request and make contact possible.
Data processed: name, e-mail address, phone number, data related to the enquiry – such as the planned date, number of guests and age group – and any other information given in the message.
Purpose of the processing: forwarding the quote request to the chosen partner and facilitating contact.
Legal basis of the processing: steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract.
MiniParty forwards the personal data given in the quote request to the provider or to the partner supplying the programme or venue to whom the data subject addressed the request. After the request has been forwarded, that partner is independently responsible for its own data processing.
Duration of the processing: up to 1 year after the quote request has been forwarded and handled, unless another appropriate legal basis is available for further retention.
4. Partner applications
MiniParty enables businesses offering party programmes, venues and services related to children's parties to join the platform.
Data processed: name of the contact person, name of the business, e-mail address, phone number, website and/or social media contact details, information about the service offered, and any other data given voluntarily during the application.
Purpose of the processing: processing the application, making contact, and preparing and establishing the partnership.
Legal basis of the processing: steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract, and, where a partnership is established, the performance of the contract.
Duration of the processing: in the case of an unsuccessful application, up to 1 year after it has been closed. Where a partnership is established, for the term of the contract and thereafter for the period prescribed by the applicable legislation.
5. Newsletter
Subscription to the MiniParty newsletter is voluntary.
Data processed: name – if provided –, e-mail address, and technical data relating to the subscription and the newsletters.
Purpose of the processing: sending newsletters, MiniParty news, ideas, offers and marketing content relating to the service.
Legal basis of the processing: the voluntary consent of the data subject.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time without giving reasons, by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending a message to info@miniparty.hu .
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Duration of the processing: until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
MailerLite
MiniParty uses the MailerLite service to manage newsletter subscribers and to send out newsletters.
For customers located in the EEA the service is provided by MailerLite Limited (Ireland). MailerLite acts as a data processor in respect of the subscriber data transferred by MiniParty. Within the service, the e-mail addresses of subscribers and other data transferred into the system by MiniParty may, among other things, be processed.
6. Technical data and cookies related to the operation of the website
While the website is in use, certain technical information may be processed automatically, such as the IP address, the type of browser and device used, the time of the visit, and technical information related to the use of the website.
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website may be used. Without them certain functions of the website would not work, or would not work properly.
If MiniParty uses statistical, marketing or other optional cookies beyond those that are strictly necessary, these are placed – where required by law – only after the visitor has given appropriate consent.
Detailed information about the cookies used, their purpose and their duration may be provided by the cookie settings of the website or by a separate cookie notice.
7. Data processors and data transfers
To operate the website and the related services, MiniParty may use data processors, in particular:
- a hosting and website operation provider,
- a web development and technical service provider,
- an e-mail and messaging service provider,
- a newsletter service provider, in particular MailerLite.
Data processors may process the personal data transferred to them solely in accordance with MiniParty's instructions, the contract between them and the applicable data protection rules.
Under MailerLite's current DPA, for EEA customers MailerLite Limited is the data processor; the documentation also governs sub-processors and the safeguards applying to international data transfers.
8. Rights of data subjects
Under the conditions set out in data protection legislation, you are entitled to:
- request information about and access to the personal data processed about you;
- request the rectification of inaccurate personal data;
- request the erasure of your personal data;
- request the restriction of processing;
- object to the processing where its legal basis allows this;
- exercise your right to data portability where the relevant conditions are met;
- withdraw your consent at any time where the processing is based on consent.

The Data Controller handles requests within the deadline laid down in the applicable data protection legislation.
9. Complaints and remedies
If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the applicable data protection rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).

Data subjects are also entitled to bring the matter before a court if their rights in connection with the processing of their personal data are infringed.
10. Data security
MiniParty applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data it processes against, among other things, unauthorised access, alteration, transfer, disclosure, erasure, destruction or damage.
Personal data may only be accessed by those who need it to carry out their duties.
11. Amendments to this policy
MiniParty is entitled to amend this Privacy Policy, in particular if the operation of the website, the services used or the applicable legislation change.
The current version is always available on the MiniParty website.
